Imagine Independence

Imagine Independence is a charity dedicated to helping people with mental and physical health issues live their lives as independently as possible.

We believe helping people to cope independently is the best way to build self-esteem and enable them to live more fulfilled and productive lives.

Working across the North West of England and London, we provide personalised support to approximately 2,000 people a year struggling with a wide range of issues – including multiple health issues, drug and alcohol issues as well as ex-offenders.

We offer support with personal skills development, housing, employment, community and vocational opportunities, healthy living and practical solutions to cope.

All with one aim in mind – to help people to live a full and independent life.

Across Merseyside & Lancashire, we offer high quality accommodation and a range of person centred services supporting people with their health and wellbeing, helping people achieve their full potential and empowering them to become increasingly independent in their daily lives.

Services include:

  • Established Accommodation. Offering both 24/7 or Visiting Support
  • Liverpool Befriending and Peer Support
  • User Led Self Help Groups
  • Social Inclusion
  • Working With Offenders
  • Women’s Services
  • Employment & Vocational Services
